To Contribute or Help
Talented, kind hearted Seamstress or Sewing Group? We need your help!
The Mary Madeline Project is a non profit organization that is run 100% on donations and volunteers. People generously donate their wedding gown and our amazing volunteers make beautiful burial clothes from them. We make garments for babies 13 weeks gestation through newborn, for boys and girls.
When a baby dies it is the most heartbreaking experience a parent could endure. The Mary Madeline Project attempts to ease some of the tremendous grief by providing beautiful burial clothing. It is a very difficult process to have to go shopping for something for your precious baby to be buried in. If the baby was premature it can be near impossible to find something that will fit. Many families have been forced to look at doll clothes in search of something small enough.
While we are happy that we have grown to serve hospitals and families in 43 states, we are having trouble keeping up with the need. If you are a talented seamstress who is interested in helping us provide a beautiful garment for grieving families please contact us! If you are not very experienced in sewing but still want to help contact us!! 402-551-7574.
*** We are sorry but do to an increase in donations and a sudden shortage of seamstresses we are not able to accept wedding gown donations at this time. Please check back in the near future ***

**** You may also make a cash donation to help with the purchase of tags, storage bags, yarn, patterns and other administrative needs. To make a newborn burial outfit, booties, hat, package it with a blanket and deliver it to hospitals costs us about $20.00 for each gown/outfit.
